Oh, what a feeling to finally cross that line!

The ride begins in Dubuque and follows scenic, low traffic roads 175 miles across the bottom of the state. We have rest stops every 25 miles with lots of great, locally sourced food. Lunch is hosted at The Rock Bar and Grill right on the Rock River in Beloit. The ride ends with a finishers party at Simmons Island Beach along the shore of Lake Michigan in Kenosha. Cross under the finishers truss, grab your cool (bottomless) finisher mug and celebrate with fellow riders with beer from Public Craft Brewing and all the great Italian food from DeRango’s, both of Kenosha. You earned it!

Jens and some Trek employees ride past a pastoral Wisconsin scene east of Walworth.

The thought behind RAW was to create an epic but fun ride across Wisconsin that people from across the country will add to their cycling bucket list. For those who are worried about finishing 175 miles in one day, we offer a 105 Dubuque to Beloit option with motor coach transport to Kenosha so you can celebrate with everyone else.

We start in Dubuque because we need a location with plenty of hotel rooms and the route across the southern part of the state is shorter. There are 14 hours and 13 minutes of daylight August 11th, which should allow most riders to finish before it gets dark, but please bring lights just in case!
